· The rectangular intumescent grills act as a firewall, they have been developed to allow a free ventilation through the compartment elements against fire maintaining the fire protection capacity intact of these elements.
· The grids are composed from a series of horizontal intumescent slats with a perimeter frame from the same material or metallic.
· The space between each slat is calculated for a maximum ventilation while it assures the total sealing in case of fire.
Applications
The firewall grids allow a ventilation through the different elements of compartmentalization, firewalls as doors, walls, partitions, floors, ceilings, false ceilings, ducts (PVC tubes).
General features
The firewall intumescent grids present the following features:
- Built with slats of an intumescent material protected PVC and metallic (graphite lined with aluminum with protected edges in a steel profile).
- Few minutes are needed to perform the complete closing from the spaces between slats.
- Depending on the models the expansion reaction begins with temperatures between 120ºC and 150ºC.
Finish
· Grey. Under request they can be supplied in different colors.
· Steel finish for the metallic ones.
Installation
· The grills are mechanically fixed in the work place through screws or metallic profiles.
· It is advisable to leave 1 or 2 mm in all the perimeter which has to be filled with putty.
Storage / Safety / Hygiene
· In a cool and dry place.
· Usual hygiene at work.

The PVC grids are certified up to 600x600x40 and the metallic grids are certified up to 1200x1200x50.
