The Morgui brand, specialised in ventilation, extraction and air treatment solutions, has achieved an important milestone with its innovative extractor hood. This product has won a Bronze Delta in the interior equipment section of the Delta Awards, given by the Industrial Design Association (ADI-FAD).
The Delta Awards, held every two years since 1961, are one of the most important awards in the field of industrial design in Spain. These awards recognise excellence in the design of products that stand out for both their aesthetic quality and their functionality.
This recognition underlines Morgui's commitment to innovation and cutting-edge design.
The Tossa hood perfectly combines industrial design and functionality with domestic aesthetics and comfort. According to its designer, Roger Morguí, ‘the Tossa hood evokes the most classic designs, where you can always recognise an inclination that acts as a funnel and directs the smoke towards the extraction’.
As a notable difference to the domestic extractor hoods currently on the market, it has open sides to maximise the sensation of space and a double collector, at the front and back, connected together for greater extraction capacity.
In addition, it incorporates inclined filters that improve the filtration of grease by decanting and prevent drips. The Tossa model also has the hallmark of the Morgui brand: manufactured in AISI 304 stainless steel, welded in a single piece, with no visible screws or joints, LED lights, the possibility of air supply and a high capacity for customisation in sizes and finishes.
Morgui can apply its vast experience in the design and manufacture of industrial hoods to smaller commercial kitchens and domestic kitchens. Morgui offers the opportunity to have a professional extractor hood in domestic kitchens, allowing you to give more personality to the space and enjoy the best design and industrial technology to achieve a professional kitchen.
The Tossa hood is part of the temporary exhibition of the ADI Awards, which can be visited free of charge until 25 August at the Disseny HUB Barcelona Museum.
On the other hand, from 18 to 21 October, Morgui will participate as an exhibitor at the new sector fair, GUEXT. The Badalona-based brand will be at stand 4B11 showing some of its flagship products, among which there will also be an extractor hood that represents its high capacity for design, innovation and customisation.
